New Life Center for Thoroughbreds is honored to be home to horses that need a soft landing at their forever home. These horses will not be re-homed but will have the opportunity to live out their lives in a safe place with lots of love and excellent care.
Cider Apple
Cider Apple arrived at New Life Center for Thoroughbreds in June of 2022 after her racing connections wanted to ensure she had a safe future after her racing career ended. "Apple," as she is known in the barn is a lovely mare. While she can't be rehomed or bred, she is sound to go onto a second career and has a bright future ahead of her. With her athleticism and wonderful personality, Apple is a wonderful ambassador for our organization and all off the track thoroughbreds.
Apple had an impressive racing career with 15 starts and over $117,000 in earnings.
Promise
Promiscoussances came to NLCT in May of 2022 and was our first sanctuary horse. Due to a fractured withers, "Promise," is happily retired and enjoying a life full of snuggles, friends, and treats.
Promise had a successful racing career with 37 starts and career earnings of $172,680.
