Traveler

Founding Equine Member of NLCT
Huxley and Heather adopted Traveler in August of 2018. Although he had come off the track years prior, he was still at the stage of needing to be correctly re-started. This handsome boy has big aspirations in the world of three-day eventing and dressage and will be out competing in 2022.

Traveler is incredibly photogenic and loves attention and snuggles – especially if they're accompanied by treats!

Vesuvian

Huxley bought Vesuvian in March of 2009 as her next upper-level eventing prospect. “Ian” had last raced in November of 2008. While Ian decided he preferred to pursue a career of straight dressage, he has really shined in that area. He competed his first third level dressage test in 2015, made his fourth level debut in 2016, and cantered down the centerline at Prix St. George in 2018. In the spring of 2021, Ian completed his Intermediate I debut.

Ian has a vivacious personality and his favorite treat is Skittles.

Edicule

"Elliot" came to New Life in December of 2021 to be a part of our re-  training program. While he did not race, trained on the track before      beginning his new chapter with us. He will be turning 3 in 2022 and
will be slowly re-started to find his new career. Elliot is an absolutely joy in the barn and has a playful, vivacious personality.

Marked Ruler

"Marcus" came to Huxley in April of 2015 and while Huxley doesn't know all of his past, she does know he had a short career at the track and upon leaving racing behind, didn't immediately go to the best situation. In his last race, Marcus refused to leave the starting gate because it was raining! Marcus has trained in three day eventing and in 2017, he was winner of the Heart of The Carolinas Training Level Three-Day Event.

Marcus adores oatmeal raisin cookies and hand grazing.

Wicked Ways

"Wren" arrived at New Life in December of 2021. This lovely girl is  anything but wicked and has the sweetest disposition. She's currently    enjoying let down time and will start her re-training journey in 2022.       Wren is a coming 5 year old in 2022 and has beautiful movement. Keep an eye out on our social media for progress updates on this lovely girl!
