Flattering

"Arlo" is a lovely, 13yr.old, 17hh gelding. He's a straightforward ride and would be an excellent match for a AA or JR/YR. Arlo has schooled through beginner novice level and is ready to show training level dressage and schooling first. He's a perfect gentleman and just wants to please. Playful, in your pocket personality.

Adoption fee: $6500

 Additional information about Arlo:

Disposition: 2
Arlo is a generally laid back, well mannered guy! He loves snuggles and spending time with people. Not a lot bothers him!

With others: 1
Arlo gets along well with practically everyone. Mares or geldings are both fine with him - he just loves friends! Currently he’s out with an alpha mare and just goes with the flow.

Under saddle: 2
Arlo has a fantastic brain and is quiet under saddle. He’s not a kick ride, but doesn’t go anywhere fast, either. Not spooky and just wants to please. Is currently ridden in a nathe.

On the ground: 3
While Arlo would dispute this number and no doubt give himself a 1, he earns a 3 only because he’s a typical chestnut when being groomed and tacked up. In no way is he naughty, but he certainly has his preferences about a few ticklish spots. As far as leading, we can award Arlo the 1 he seeks as he’s absolutely perfect!

Maintenance: 2
For a big guy, Arlo is a generally easy keeper on a good quality feed with access to forage. He only requires front shoes. Has no limitations!
